Attention!

March 31, 2003

This is for you, George Clooney, Susan Sarandon, Jeannine Garofalo, Michael Douglas, Michael Moore, Sean Penn, and any other celebrity crybabies and limousine liberals out there:

And it goes *double* for the likes of Peter Arnette and Andy Rooney, two well-seasoned journalists who should definitely know when to shut their pie-holes by now, but apparently don?t. Grrr. Fucktards like this just really get on my nerves.

Don’t be a fucktard or I will come and get you, understand? >:E

I know it?s hard to tell at the moment because of my ranting, but my Monday went wonderfully. :) Some simple delights:

~ A woman came around our neighborhood today passing out large, handmade yellow ribbons for everyone to display in support of our POW troops. I was very moved by her individual effort and thanked her warmly. The cool thing is, just last night I was telling Agent J that I wanted to put up a yellow ribbon and see if I could get others in the neighborhood to do it as well. Great minds think alike!

~ I continued my lecture on Rembrandt and I knew the details of the material so thoroughly that I didn?t even have to consult my notes. I was able to give the entire lecture ?off the cuff?, so to speak. I am going to be good at this art history thing, I tell ya.

~ My jonquils and daffodils are starting to pop out of the ground, and when I went outside this morning I was greeted by a whole troop of red-breasted robins. Yea, Spring!

~ I found a ten-dollar bill in the pocket of my sweatshirt jacket that must have been there since last autumn. I needed money for gas, too, so it was a very sweet coincidence.

~ My gal-friend Jake just sent me some pics of her beautiful new puppy, Rubie! She is adorable. (So is Jake, by the way!) Rubie is a Japanese Chin, the breed of dog I would love to adopt someday. Seeing those photos made my heart happy and I couldn?t stop smiling. I am still smiling, in fact! Thank you, Jake **HUG** :)
~ I looked on my calendar, and there?s only about 1 month of school left. This means that soon I will have lots of free time for art making and entering work in exhibitions. I found myself getting waves of artistic confidence today, and I feel quite blessed indeed.

I have to get back to some paperwork now, but I just wanted to check in to rant a bit and be happy for a while. More to come, my friends.

I agree with your rant about Hollywood (or maybe it’s Hollyweed with what they MUST be smoking out there!) Check this out for an email I got last week that shows just how intelligent these so-called pundits of Hollywood really are.

I won’t pretend I know much about the war. I know that the person who commented on here 3 times went about it the wrong way. Just because you ranted and raved didn’t mean he had too. I guess though that you both have a right to be who you are and do what you do… .

now to my real comment- It sounds like your monday went great– God sure blessed you.. He blessed me as well with special time with my youngest son… which was cool.

Let’s see, THUGPASS, if Bush really were a dictator do you think this medium would even be available? If the media were doing MY thinking for me, I would be cowering in the corner asking “Please, Saddam, can you not hurt your people?” If you are from Britain as you infer, it’s too bad for the troops your country has sent there that you do not support them in their actions. Also, as far as the UN, don’t 45 countries make enough of a coalition? Do we always do what the UN wants? Only 3 of the 45 wars since WW2 have been sanctioned by the UN and one of them the US officially called a police action and not a war. It’s NOT about the oil - it’s about finishing a job that we didn’t finish last time because of the UN whining.

Holy shit! I hate it when trolls don’t take their meds!

I love that pic! If celebrities are allowed to say the shit they’re saying, we are allowed to respond by saying anything we want, including “Shut your piehole and sing the fucking song already.”
    :-)

Got something to say?
