Me. Christine. Brattier than the brattiest brat times infinity. (Or so I have been told…). Listen closely to me half of the time and ignore me the other half, and everything will work out just fine.
Agent J. Leading man and lovemonkey. By day, he is a mild-mannered engineer who thinks in straight lines; by night he is an avid cyclist and craftsman woodworker, looking for his next exciting adventure and project. I sure do love him.
Randle P. McMurphy. The best little boy-cat in the world, but he loves to get into all sorts of mischief. Also known as Ran the Man, R-Dawg, R-Diddy, That !@#$% Cat. Randy is 15 years old.
Zoe. She is our new kitten. She likes to give kisses, bite fingers and toes, and RUN RUN RUN! She is definitely the most curious kitty we’ve ever had and gets into new adventures every day.
Laura, my older sister. Very intelligent, very sweet and sentimental. She has the warmest heart I have ever walked into. Laura lives and works in the Omaha area. She is the mother to two grown children, Eddie and Jessica.
Deb, my younger sister. Sometimes referred to as Dr. Cheesecake. Highly educated, and can be clinical and cool at times, but she knows how to let her hair down and have fun, too. A judicious thinker. Deb and her husband Raymond live in western Iowa.
Jessica. My beloved Lambykins! She is my only niece (Laura’s daughter) and I am so blessed to have her in my life. Jessica and her husband Mike live near Las Vegas, Nevada.
Eddie. My extraordinarily talented nephew (Laura’s son) who works as a professional tattoo artist in Lincoln, Nebraska. Married to the lovely Christine; they are raising 3 wonderful boys and a princess named Maggie.
Mark. A great man and the closest I have to a brother. We grew up in the same neighborhood as children and he’s remained close in my heart ever since. He lives with his partner, Chris, in Ohio.
Linda. Agent J’s older sister; lives in our hometown of Sioux City. She’s sweet, smart, and now a grandma to two adorable little girls.
Daddy Al and Hot Donna. Agent J’s 80+ year-old father and his girlfriend. What can I say? It’s love or something like it. They’ve been together several years now.
More Good People:
Dr. K. My long-time therapist and confidant. He’s retired now, but he’s still an important person in my life.
Wolfman. Basically a good guy. Our neighbor to the south, and he really does look a little like Wolfman Jack. He has a penchant for mowing the lawn at the worst times and tends to leave his music playing loudly even when he isn’t home.
