He’s Got It Coming

Hello and welcome to Celebrity Bitch Slap! We’ve got a real winner this week, kids.

The notorious celebrity hothead, Alec Baldwin, got his moronic self in trouble again.

According to Page Six, he was waiting for a parking place in downtown Manhattan when some guy swooped in and stole the spot. As the guy was feeding the meter, ol’ Alec went berserk and punched him in the face so hard that he ended up in the hospital.

Baldwin went to jail for the afternoon and now he’s got a court date for the charges of misdemeanor assault and harassment.

What the fuck is this guy’s problem anyway? Who does he think he is? You’d think with all the money he makes he would park in a fucking garage!

Apparently, he could get up to a year in jail — but we know that will never happen. He’ll weasel his way out of it somehow. Maybe have to go through anger management classes *again*. (That’s worked so well in the past, right?)

So, come here, Alec… I’ve got something for you…

That’s for being a creep, a bully, a bad actor, a pompous ass, and an entitled jerk. I could go on, but I am pretty sure that deep down in that black heart of yours, you know exactly what you are.

Thank you for playing Celebrity Bitch Slap!, Alec. You are now dismissed.

Next?!

TGIF Tunes!

I absolutely love music of all genres, so it was an easy decision to dedicate at least one blog entry per week to it. What better day than Friday? This could really set your mood for the weekend, you know.

This week’s selection is an 80’s tune by Marshall Crenshaw, “Someday, Someway”. It’s bouncy, high-energy and really gets you moving. I find it odd that I don’t remember liking it when it was originally released, because I love it now. I bet you will, too!

Give it a listen…

And that is your first TGIF Tune. I hope you enjoyed it!

XoXOXoxox,

What’s Cookin’?

I published this recipe in my previous blog and people loved it — so I thought I’d post it again and see if I can get anyone else hooked on these babies. Hehe.

I can’t recall where I got this recipe, but I’ve been making these muffins each fall for several years now. They are terrific – moist, perfectly textured and lots of spicy, pumpkin-y goodness. Try them and I guarantee they will be an instant hit!

Spicy Pumpkin Muffins

2 cups pumpkin puree
2/3 cup vegetable oil
4 eggs
2 1/2 cups white sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon ginger
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon allspice
1/2 teaspoon cloves
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
3 cups white flour
1-2 cups chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

– Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
– Line a muffin pan with paper liners.
– Mix ingredients in a large bowl in the order given, until thoroughly mixed but not over beaten.
– Fill each cup until almost full.
– Sprinkle tops with a generous pinch of cinnamon-sugar before baking (this really makes them pretty!)
– Bake for 25-30 minutes, then cool on rack.
– Store covered. They also freeze beautifully.

Makes about 2 dozen muffins

I hope you like them! More again soon…

Well, well, well.

Hello again.

Welcome to the 4th incarnation of my venture into the blogging world. For some reason, every so often I get the urge to write, so I start up a new blog and go for it. The longest stretch I’ve done it was 11 years; the shortest was about a month.

I feel like this time is going to be a lengthy stretch again.

Some of the things I am interested in sharing this time around are photographs, memes, music, recipes, and personal stories, of course. I’m really getting excited about it and I hope you come back and check out my site on a regular basis. You are always welcome here and I’d love to hear from you in the comment sections anytime!

I need to get back to building and tweaking the site now. More again soon.
